just in case you were wondering what i do in my spare time, this is sam and my apartment mate paul. paul made a gas powered margarita machine picture above. this is about the sweetest invention ever, minus all the gas fumes that made their way into my house. the margaritas were tasty and got us just tipsy enough before our first interview for life in the East. i think the most trying question the interviewer asked me was, "So, are you and Sam going to get married?" essentially korea is v. male dominated such like 1950s america. i think they will hire me based on my photo (a requirement to getting an ESL job in s. korea) and my answer to the above question. and what the correct answer is, i'm not sure!
