Today was a bacon and tomato (they are in season, ripe, and delicious) sandwich kind of day. This is very reminiscent of my mom's speciality while growing up. Particularly skinny bacon is popular here and you usually cook the whole package just for two sandwiches. Pork is probably the most popular meat here in South Korea. I have replaced turkey (no where to be found here, although I haven't tried too hard) with pork. This is our baby stove and baby teapot to the side.

Today we cleaned the house, did a recon mission on the fish tank and filter, unclogged the shower drain (iewwww!!!!) ate at a kimchi buffet for 5,000 won ($5), and rode our bikes to buy rootbeers (special) and 8,000 won Sensodyne toothpaste. Damn m my sensitive teeth and their habit! Sam and I drank rootbeers on the roof of our apartment in twilight and watched the bunny do its night exploring. That was my first rootbeer in one year. Barq's really does have a bite and A&W is a bit more creamy. Maybe I needed that long break to really refine my taste buds in terms of rootbeer.
