Happy New Year

from Hideo Noguchi.

Oh, by the way, your blog hasn't been updated in a while. Are you not writing in it anymore?

Hello

How have you been?
I am Hideo, did you remember me?
I met you with Sam at Asakusa on May 2006.

With the coming of April Tokyo has become green with budding plants and people have begun to dress in lighter clothing. It really feels like spring has come. But we have an expression in panese, "Sunshine in spring never lasts three days," and this season is proving it quite true!Just when you think the weather's been nice and clear for two days, the third day ends up rainy or cloudy. There's one more thing that feels like spring to me, and that's the cherry lossoms.
Seeing them all in full bloom makes me truly glad I was born Japanese.I went cherry blossom viewing in Ueno Park with some of my friends on the first Saturday of April.
